Plugin Development

A new plugin development package is in the works, for the time being just hang in there until I get an official package released.

For the brave at heart, feel free to checkout a copy of 'PluginSetup' from the pgina-2.0 branch of the SVN repository and build it yourself. Please be aware that the code is in a very rough state right now so don't expect too much out of it.

The new development package is aimed to include the following items:

  • Plugin Framework that supports the latest 1.8 plugins.
  • Plugin tester that is compatible with both lines of pGina, 1.x and 2.x
  • Intelligent installer that can detect whether installing to 1.x or 2.x
  • Updated documentation

If anyone has any ideas for the Plugin Development Package that you think would be helpful and would like to see make it's way into the PluginSDK, either shoot steve an email, post it in the forums, or add it to the pGina 2.x Feature Requests Tracker.
